Editorial

M. Halloway is the byline this catalogue is published under. It represents the desk that opens each listing, records the reference price and writes the entry. It is not the name of a single outside expert, and it is not a claim that anyone here has handled the goods.

How an entry is checked

Every find is opened inside LitBuy before it goes up. The CNY figure is read off the seller page on the day of the check rather than carried forward, and anything that has stopped resolving is dropped instead of being parked at the bottom of a category.

Dates on an entry

Entries are re-opened on a rolling weekly schedule. When an entry is re-checked, the date printed on the product page moves with it, so the date you see is the date of the last real pass.

What has not been done

No item on this site has been held, worn, weighed or tested. The factory, the material and the production batch are unknown here, and no entry should be read as a statement about origin or quality. The notes say what the listing and the price band support, and nothing further.

Reaching the desk

Corrections, dead links and price drift go to [email protected]. Include the entry ID printed beside the reference price and the entry is re-opened the same week.
